Doelstelling

The Construction & Commissioning Coordinator Mechanical reports directly to the
Construction Manager and oversees all aspects of the project such as: scope,
coordination, schedule, construction, quantity and quality of the work, commissioning,
performance test and acceptance.
He will be working in various process areas.

Voornaamste taken

Roles/Responsibilities
1. Manages all Mechanical works and design.
2. Coordinates Mechanical works of all contractors.
3. Respond to day to day issues regarding design, construction and commissioning.
4. Manages project changes to minimize cost, timing and performance impacts.
5. Resolves issues and coordinates activities by serving as the focal point between the
customers, technology team and contractors.
6. Communicates well through periodic reports and reviews with the project team and
technology team.
7. Maintain competency and state-of-art knowledge in pertinent aspects of engineering
disciplines.

Main tasks description
1. Daily coordination of the activities in the designated areas.
2. Ensure direct contact with the technology engineer for the designated area.
3. Ensures the contractors execute the works according to the on-site regulations and
HSE standards.
4. Coordinates and organizes works of different contractors in the designated area.
5. Ensures the project schedule is being met by the different contractors working in his
designated area.
6. Inspects/reports/corrects on quantity and quality of the work carried out by the
contractors in his designated area.
7. Checks/reports on conformity of the works carried out with the design.
8. Participates in daily meetings with contractors and site team.
9. Assists if required the logistic people with inspection of received and stored goods.
10. Ensures equipment is installed according to the technical description and applicable
standards (Quantity & quality).
11. Ensures the equipment is released for start-up according to the schedule.
12. Assists suppliers in starting-up and commissioning and coordinates between suppliers
and commissioning manager.
13. Creates requisitions for orders in SAP for his designated area, takes also care of the
goods receipt / invoice approval.
14. Makes sure that all documents, quotations, reports are uploaded to the extranet.

Deliverables
1. Good quality execution of the assigned works.
2. Weekly meeting reports of progress meetings assigned contractors.
3. Weekly Contractor Status Report to be issued to the Engineering Manager.
4. Weekly Cost Report for the assigned contractors.
5. Yellow line P&ID's showing the progress of the works.
6. CCT and COT files for the assigned Commissioning Packages.
7. As-build file for all the assigned works.
