Voornaamste taken

– As process/product engineer, you are the process owner of panel/profile production
– Maintaining and improving the quality of the panels is a key responsibility
– Establishing, recording and holding process parameters in consultation with line operators by means of standard work sheets.
– Analyze processes and draw up reports
– Drawing up and developing improvement proposals
– Evaluate existing production processes and workflows
– Create processes and procedures to help the company achieve budgetary goals
– Design and develop new products
– Participate in brainstorming sessions and interdepartmental (project)meetings to ensure collaboration and cohesion
– Ensure an effective and efficient work order
– Develop standardized design criteria for all product lines
– Inventory customer wishes and requirements
– Support production with technical expertise and knowledge regarding SW production lines
– You are the first point of contact for your colleagues i.r.t. panel production.
– Convert customer requirements to production and product specifications
– Informing and training employees regarding requirements and specifications
– Applying visual management; visualize measurements and results to employees – Create/develop new solutions to existing production problems
– Support/Apply SPC; making of process analyses, variation analyses, trend analyses
– Support Quality tests, checks, measurements – Introduce and apply lean manufacturing (LSS)
– Support introduction/implementation TPM
– You work intensively with R&D and engineers from other locations regarding designing and developing solutions for technical issues.
– Support planning and executing calibrations of process equipment
– Responsible of the laboratory in Geel


– Master/bachelor in a Chemical/technical direction, or equivalent through experience
– Mother tongue: Dutch; knowledge of English and French
– At least 2 years of experience in operations
– Experience in the metal sector is a plus
– Knowledge of polyurethane-based insulation is a plus
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
