Senior project controls planner!
For a project in Beerse, we are looking for a senior Scheduler / Planner responsible for setting up, managing and controlling the integrated project schedule of a complex and critical brownfield project.
The project schedule is a key success factor. The Scheduler supports the project management team by providing timely and reliable insight into progress, deviations and risks, and by challenging planning assumptions where needed. This role clearly goes beyond execution or reporting and requires an experienced professional with a strong project controls mindset.
The Scheduler operates within the PMO structure and reports directly to the PMO and the Project Lead.
Dit zijn je voornaamste taken:
- Develop, manage and continuously update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the full Polaris project and all underlying sub-projects (L1-L5).
- Integrate and align schedules from multiple internal and external stakeholders into one consistent and reliable project schedule.
- Actively collect, analyse and validate progress data to ensure the schedule accurately reflects the actual project status.
- Proactively analyse critical path, progress, trends and risks, including performing scenario analyses.
- Identify deviations at an early stage and propose well-founded measures to mitigate their impact on the project.
- Critically challenge planning assumptions and schedule updates provided by stakeholders when required.
- Prepare clear and structured progress and status reports for the PMO, Project Lead and other stakeholders.
- Define and monitor KPIs that support the quality, consistency and reliability of the project schedule.
- Support project managers with resource planning, risk management and mitigation actions.
- Maintain and keep up to date all schedule-related project documentation.
Dit zijn must-haves voor deze job:
We are looking for a clearly senior planning professional with experience in complex industrial projects and the ability to bring structure and insight at project level.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, project management, construction, business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive relevant experience in project scheduling within complex industrial projects, preferably covering phases from engineering through commissioning and start-up.
- Proven experience in developing and managing integrated master schedules in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience in a site-based and/or brownfield environment is a strong asset.
- Very strong, hands-on knowledge of MS Project (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Primavera is an asset, not a requirement.
- Solid understanding of scheduling techniques, critical path analysis, resource planning and risk management.
- Experience working within a PMO or project controls environment and according to established procedures is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills, structured way of working and high attention to detail.
- Proactive, able to critically assess planning assumptions and progress, and to raise deviations in a constructive manner.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable working with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Very good command of English; knowledge of German is an asset.
- Knowledge of Dutch is not required, but considered a plus.
